Day 01: Arrival to Sri Lanka
Welcome to Colombo. After clearing the customs at the Colombo International Airport transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in your hotel at Colombo.
Day 02: Colombo City Tour
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Colombo, seeing places, such as Pettah Bazaar, a Hindu and a Buddhist Temple, affluent residential areas, Colombo Museum, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, New Parliament, and the Dutch Museum. Also visit places, such as Ceramics Corporation Showroom, Majestic City Shopping Complex, House of Fashion, and the Odel Unlimited Dress Boutique. Then return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 03: Day at Leisure
Today after a leisurely late breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure in Colombo. Overnight in your hotel in Colombo.
Day 04: Farewell
Departure. After breakfast, depart to the airport for your onward journey.

Day 1: Colombo – Kandy
Meet and assistance on arrival at the Colombo International airport and you will be transferred to Kandy. In the afternoon, proceed for a city tour of Kandy. (Time permitting) Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kandy, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. The historic city, about 480m above sea level and surrounded by mountains, was known to Sri Lanka as Kanda Uda Rata, which means the hill country. Kandy was home to Sri Lanka`s last independent Kingdom, which survived two centuries of colonial incursion before finally falling to the British at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Visit the Temple of the Tooth, the royal Botanical Gardens, the Peradeniya University campus and catch a panoramic view of the picturesque town from Upper Lake Drive. Early evening, you will visit a Kandyan Dance performance and be treated to a spectacular fire walking finale.

Day 2: Kandy - Beruwala / Bentota via Peradeniya and Pinnawala
After breakfast, depart Kandy for Beruwala. En route, transfer to Pinnawala where you will visit the Elephant Orphanage (entrance fees not included and to be paid directly).
The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka`s most popular tourist attractions. Situated half-way between Colombo and Kandy, the orphanage now has a population of about 75 elephants. The elephants here range from new born calves to elderly matriarchs and include orphaned and abandoned elephants as well as those injured in the wild. The original objective of establishing the Orphanage was inclined more towards tourism, but soon it became a conservation and educational centre. Proceed to Beruwala / Bentota. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Bentota at your pre-arranged hotel.
Day 3: Bentota – Colombo
After breakfast, depart for Colombo. En-route, take a city tour of Colombo.
Colombo Enjoy a city tour of Colombo, which is the largest city and former administrative capital of Sri Lanka and is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and remnants of a bygone colonial era. Due to its large harbor and strategic position along the East-West sea trade routes, Colombo was known to ancient traders 2,000 years ago. However, it was only made the Capital of the island when Sri Lanka was ceded to the British Empire in 1815. The main city is home to a majority of Sri Lanka`s corporate offices, restaurants and entertainment venues. On this tour, you will visit many of the historical, religious and commercial sites of Colombo including the historic and bustling Fort and Pettah, the elite residential Cinnamon Gardens, the Galle Face Green, Viharamaha devi Park and much more.
Day 4: Depart Colombo
After breakfast at the hotel, morning is at leisure. You will then be transferred to the Colombo International airport for your return flight to India.

After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. The gardens were first built as pleasure gardens by a Sinhala King and it was later expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Spend the night in the comfort of your hotel room.
Day 03: Tea Plantation Tour
After breakfast, move on to Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, Sri Lanka is where the best tea in the world is produced. After your tour, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, which, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort. Day 04: Nuwara Eliya to Colombo, Sightseeing in Colombo

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, En route visit the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple, Ramboda (Approximately 1 ½ Hrs Drive).
On these hills of Ramboda where Hanuman was searching for Sitadevi, the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka built a temple with Hanuman as the presiding deity. On every full moon day special pooja"s are conducted and witnessed by thousands of devotees.

Day 04: Banderawela
After breakfast proceed to Bandarawela, En route visit Seetha Amman Temple, Seetha Eliya. Thereafter proceed to Divurumpola situated in Nuwara Eliya Welimada road.
Divurmpola means a place where one takes an oath. Sitadevi, after being liberated from King Ravana was subjected to a test to prove here chastity by offering herself to the fire. However she came unscathed and proved her holiness during this ritual at this place.

Day 05: Kataragama

Day 06: Colombo
After breakfast visit to Kataragama Temple to worship. Thereafter precede Ussanggoda. (Approximately 2 Hrs Drive) According to Ramayana, after meeting Sitadevi, Lord Hunuman decided to test the strength of the mighty King Ravana and his army of Rakshasas. During the events that unfolded Lord Hanuman's tail was set on fire by the rakshasa's, and Lord Hanuman in turn went on to torch some parts of King Ravana's empire.Ussanggoda is on the torched areas, which is said to have been an airport used by King Ravana.
There after proceed to Colombo, En route visit Rumasela, Galle. (Approximately 3 ½ Hrs Drive), Seenigama Tempel,Hikkaduwa. (Approximately 20 Minutes Drive) and Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple. (Approximately 4 Hrs Drive)

- A temple dedicated to Anjaneyar in Sri Lanka.

Day 03: Sightseeing tour of Polonnaruwa
Today after breakfast take an excursion to Polonnaruwa, the second ancient capital city for three centuries, is one of the most interesting places in Sri Lanka with many well preserved ruins of palace and monasteries which easily can make every tourist to impress will make your breath away with its unbelievable beauty. Day 04: Dambula cave Complex, Nalanda Gedige, Spice Garden & Batik Factory visit and Dance
After breakfast leave for Kandy. En-route visit Dambulla. In Sri Lanka history Dambulla cave complex dates back to 3rd and 2nd centuries BC. Dambulla is best known for its wonderful cave temple complex dating back to 2nd century BC. Preserved diligently by Sri Lanka, Dambulla caves have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. They are also known for bird watching. Then visit Nalanda Gedige the Abu Simbel of Sri Lanka. Nalanda Gedige is one of a number of remarkable archaeological sites in Sri Lanka. Gedige is an image house and strongly recommended, because it exhibits a composite style of architecture unique in Sri Lanka. Later visit a spice garden & batik factory in Matale, en-route to Kandy. Check in to y our hotel. The most famous landmark of Kandy is its lake, in the centre of the city. Late in the evening view the Kandyan cultural performance. Day 05: Peradeniya Botonical Gardens, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Galle
After breakfast leave to the beach hotel near Galle. En route visit the Kandy Museum & the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which are well known for their large number and variety of plants, ornamental, decorative, useful & medicinal. More than 4000 species include indigenous and introduced plants. On the way to the beach hotel visit the elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala. This orphanage was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fell into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought period. Day 07: Galle Visit, Old Portuguese Fort, Madu Ganga, Turtle Hatchery and Colombo
After breakfast leave to Colombo en route visit Galle. Visit the old Portuguese fort, later rebuilt and extended by the Dutch is still fine preservation. Most of the administration of Galle still takes place from the fort .The view from the ramparts is superb. Galle is a city situated on the south-western tip of Sri Lanka.
Later take a breezy boat ride on the Madu Ganga. The Madu River, situated in the Galle District is of the intricate river channels in the country’s south west coast. Visit a turtle hatchery. Continue to Colombo and check-in to your hotel.

Day 02: Transfer to Anuradhapura with en-route visit to Negombo
After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura. En-route visit Negombo. It is largely Roman Catholic by faith, with huge imposing churches down almost every street. The sea & the catamarans are the backdrop to the Negombo scenery. Later in the evening, visit Anuradhapura the ruins of the first capital founded in the 05th century BC here is found the largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization. Day 03: Visit to Aukana & Sigiriya
After breakfast visit Aukana Some 30km northwest of Golden Dambulla Rock Temple, the village of Aukana located close to the large ancient Kala Wewa rainwater reservoir, is home to the most perfectly preserved ancient statue in Sri Lanka & then visit Sigiriya, located in the north-central part of Sri Lanka, preserves the architectural tradition of the country. The town is famous for its Rock, Gardens and Sanctuary. Sigiriya has spectacular importance in Sri Lanka. An ancient palace complex, erected during the reign of King Kasyapa, has been declared by UNESCO a world heritage site. Evening relax & overnight stay at the hotel with dinner.
Day 04: Visit to Polonnaruwa & Medirigiriya
After breakfast excursion to Polonnaruwa, the second ancient capital city for three centuries, is one of the most interesting places in Sri Lanka with many well preserved ruins of palace and monasteries which easily can make every tourist to impress. Late afternoon visit Medirigiriya. The Medirigiriya Vatadage is on a high circular stage. It has three circles of concentric (With the same centre) circle of pillars is a decorated stone wall about three and a half feet high. Return to the hotel for overnight stay with dinner.
Day 05: Visit to Dambulla, Nalanda Gedige, Matale and Kandy
After breakfast leave for Kandy. En-route visit Dambulla. In Sri Lanka history Dambulla cave complex dates back to 3rd and 2nd centuries BC. Even before the making of the complex it was well established as one of the largest monasteries in Sri Lanka. Dambulla caves have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Day 06: Kandy City Tour with Dance performance with Visit to Pinnawala
After breakfast leave for Pinnawela & visit the elephant Orphanage. This orphanage was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Day 07: Transfer to Nuwara Eliya with a Visit to Peradeniya Botanical Gardens
After breakfast, visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is well known for its large number and variety of plants This garden is best known for its collection of orchids the largest in Asia. Later, leave for Nuwaraeliya the centre of hill country, En-route visit a tea plantation and witness the manufacture of the world famous Ceylon tea. Gregory Lake is one of attractive locationsin Nuwaraeliya. Also visit Shanthipura (the city view point) and Spend the evening walking in the cool climate. Arrive at hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 08: Transfer to Galle with Visit to Tissamaharma, Buduruwagala,Kataragama and Yala
After breakfast leave for Tissamaharama region. Stop at Ella to admire the magnificent view. Then visit Buduruwagala. The name Buduruwagala means “the rock with the statue of Buddha” and that is exactly what it is. The rock itself has shape of a kneeling elephant. The statues date back to 10 century AD. Then visit the sacred city of Kataragama. Later in the evening take a safari in Yala national park by jeep. The Elephant is undoubtedly the best known attraction at Yala, seen in small & large herds. Herds of spotted deer are seen all over the park. Monkeys-the pinkish rhesus and the Grey-faced Langur, monkeys live and play on the tree-tops and the ground below. Wild buffalo & wild boar could give you a good surprise & the sight of a leopard sunning itself or drinking water at a water hole could be memorable experience. Arrive at hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 09: Visit to Weligama, Galle and time on the beach
After breakfast leave for Galle. En route view the Still fisherman of Weligama fishing, then visit the Old Portuguese fort, later rebuilt and extended by the Dutch is still fine preservation. Most of the administration of Galle still takes place from the fort. The view from the ramparts is superb. The Galle fort is a world heritage site and the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. Continue towards the beach hotel. Evening free relax at the beach. Dinner & overnight.
